UCABS - Underwater Continuous Air Bubble Scooter,
UCABS has been created to provide the scuba diving experience to virtually anyone without the rigors required by the typical diving experience, No certification, No cumbersome gear and No experience required.
Hop on the UCABS and travel at speeds of up to 3km with a basic operating depth of up to 3 - 5m giving riders access to shallow reefs and wrecks. The UCABS operate like your typical motorbike,
just turn the handlebars for direction and apply pressure to the switch for forward motion. Depth is controlled by the dive staff and a surface buoy.
No you do not need to know how to swim. The crew members are all certified dive masters and instructors, and they will help you throughout the tour. You will be supervised and escorted around the spectacular reefs and wrecks and you will never be alone.
Yes, you will have to hold your glasses in your hand while placing your head in the bubble and then put the glasses back on as your head is above the water.
We keep our scooters to a maximum depth of up to 5 meters at all times, which is deep enough to make you feel like you are diving, and to show you some magnificent sites and wrecks. The scooter unit is connected to a floating buoy and you can never go deeper than the length of the line set by the staff.
The UCABS are completely environmentally friendly. The unit is propelled by an electric motor, and uses a 12 volt battery and a switch. Therefore, there are no emissions to the water. The UCABS is a 100% environmentally friendly green machine.
We are very careful with our reefs and the environment and would never permit this to happen. Your experienced guides are with you during the entire tour to make sure you are comfortable, confident, safe and secure at all times. The staff will set your depth to prevent this type of accident.
